Why is Whisky spelled without an e sometimes, and other times with an e? It's about the origins of the recipe. With an e, generally speaking is Irish, without an e, Scottish.

I've been thinking how much I appreciate most of you folks.

There are only one, no two, no three, maybe it's four folks on here I don't fully appreciate. Of course I've come to believe that they are but one. Never mind.
I have become a huge fan of the musings of our friend Logo. Some may think he's non-sensical, wrong! You just don't get him. Sometimes I have to read a second or a third time. But he makes sense. If you are published my friend, I'd be interested as long as it's in your style. Haven't read any of the people you mentioned, back in the 70s, my teenage years I was a fan of Kurt Vonnegut and Ewell Gibbons, make some sense out of that one.

I have a lot to learn, man I'm almost 60 and just started enjoying adult beverages. Sigh........... I guess, trying the good stuff now instead of the "what can I buy for 5 dollars" stuff has it's benefits.

Speaking of things that taste better, have any of you had a service berry? Yes, that ornamental tree some folks plant. Well, it was a well used plant by Native Americans, I found some while I was hiking about a year or two back, man they are wonderful. Sweeter than mulberries, my favorite. We lived for 20+ years in a home we built, my wife planted these and I never knew. Darn!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I had some extra time on my hands, and, considering the importance of this thread, Parts 1-2, to world civilization, compiling the list certainly seemed like time well spent.

(Actually, it was pretty easy, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Younger son just happened to be walking by the computer at the time, so I grabbed him, gave him a clipboard, and he recorded the names as I paged down each screen reading off the names in rapid succession. Then compiled the list. Piece of cake)
