I'm just starting out, these two were my first ventures.
I've heard sanitizing is of utmost importance. But on the other hand, I've seen a few guys state that back in time people who fermented whatever, weren't all that sanitary. I'll choose to be clean.
It's amazing how simple it is. One could start with a bottle of juice, remove some juice, add more sugar, add yeast, put a balloon over the
opening. Put it in a dark place and let it go, check every now and then and release the CO2. When the balloon stops inflating you are done. Siphon into another container(s), sample. Let it age, or not.
I'm thinking next time about
trying freeze distilling. Maybe make some Apple Jack.
