Saw my oncologist for my first of two yearly visits. Waiting for PSA results. In April 2018, it was 21.xx. In October 2018, it jumped to 31.xx, the largest increase in years. Doctor still wants to sit tight, until something shows up in a scan. Will have to wait to see what this last one reads. With PSA reading as high as mine, you would think I would be lighting up like a Christmas tree.
However, doctor ordered a new chest CT, deeply concerned about spot(s) on left lung. Before they thought it was scarring, but he said he ordered a 2nd opinion and it was really conflicting. He asked a lot about my prior smoking history, said it looks like lung cancer, but not sure. I only smoked from age 50 to age 62 (I know, what a dumb time to start), but didn't think I had smoked long enough for cancer.
My Parkinson's is still my worse malady. It's a horrible thing to live with, as it can effect every part of your body and thinking. Progressing quickly. Only so much that can be done, and I am doing it currently. As I type this, my hands are shaking so much, they keep jumping off the keyboard. BTW, don't go to lunch with me, if soup is on the menu, it will be all over the table, lol
