Hi folks,
I just went for my three-month PSA reading as part of my AS protocol at MSKCC. It came back at 6.54. That's a full point down from 7.51 in February. I'm still waiting for the Free PSA reading.
Even before I was diagnosed with Gleason 6 in two cores (1% and 3%, respectively), my PSA always bounced around like this. My last six readings from oldest to newest were: 7.73, 6.19, 6.09, 6.43, 7.51, and now 6.54. My Free PSA is always in the 22% to 26% range.
It appears I'll just stay on track for my scheduled MRI in August as that is part of the protocol, and if all has remained the same (my last MRI was PIRADS 3), I follow on with PSA readings and then a biopsy sometime in early 2021.
Is anyone here in this group on AS at MSKCC in NYC?
Thanks!

I'm on AS at Emory University/St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. My PSA is known to bounce around as well. Good to hear from you again. My second MRI turned out better than the first. Good luck.

It sounds like you are doing well with your testing.
At Johns Hopkins, they switched to the PHI test about
four years ago. That test includes PSA, fPSA, and a prostate cancer biomarker. You might ask about
it’s availability within your program.
