Hello to all, here to report that my Ad Vance Sling install was a Success!!! I had the install on 4 March 2019, and have been dry as Saudi Arabia in August ever since!!! I have no problems emptying my bladder, have developed a technique that has helped, (deep inhale sucking in my gut, that seems to empty the last remnants of urine!), and couldn't be happier!!! I have read some very bad results here with those that tried this remediation post surgery..... My Surgeon only had done about 6 or 7 Ad Vance Male installs, but has done thousands in Women, as many as 2 dozen a week... Anyway, I had complete confidence in my Team. A Representative from Ad Vance was with us in surgery, to assist with any technical issues that might have come up. The only issue post surgery, was, again, my fault as was shoveling my roof in Upstate NY, the day my catheter was pulled, 8 days post op... My Wife blew a tire 2 weeks after my sling install... YUP, I changed the tire, ripped half the incision open, it got infected, and I didn't tell anyone until the pain was so severe, I had to call my Doc on a Sunday to get me right in... So, the moral of my story, is don't be like me, ALWAYS listen to your Doc's directives... This sent my healing back about 4 to 6 weeks, just another part of the learning curve. I do have residual pain on the scrotum, and can't really describe it... aching, burning, but not at all debilitating, If this is the price to pay for being pad free, I'll take it!!! Additionally, on Memorial Day, I Saluted all MY BBROTHER'S AND SISTER'S in the Military with 12 Old Mil LIght's on and empty stomach, to test the sling in earnest... NOT A SINGLE DROP OF A LEAK... this was a real test... PSA CONTINUES TO BE <0.04, 5 AND 1/2 years since my surgery in Syracuse. Life is Great! God Bless All of You! Bob
