So, I was diagnosed October 2013 with PCa, surgery didn't take care of it but I did find out:
G9, LN+, SV+, EPE+, SM+, BN-, pT3bN1

Been through ADT off and on these six years and had radiation to the pelvic bed and nodes 4 years ago.

I'm incurable, smh!

I'm alive, I'm definitely a different man.
I care not for sex, I can have conversations with females without thinking of them in that way.
That's kind of refreshing.
I really try to listen to my wife, she's certainly smarter than I am.
I also have developed an attitude that I don't give a carp, if it's wrong I'll say so even if you are offended.

I certainly am dreading my next PSA test, which is early next month.

But I am alive and thankful for being so.

We appear to be on the same cruise ship. Seems like you're saying it's not all that bad. I agree. I guess we just keep sailing.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m in the same incurable boat and experiencing the same freedom of expression. I was going to retire but decided it’s too much fun to keep working for now with no fear. I’m fortunate that my job is about integrity, morality, and legality. I am free to say what I think, confront wrong when it’s wrong, and do what I can to help by always doing the next right thing. There is an upside to be in this situation with a the caveat that I’m also fortunate enough at this stage of the game to be clinically symptom free. While a part of me dreads what lies ahead, it’s nice to be care free...and being a sailor, I appreciate the anecdotal reference. So true...

I work as a staff member at a University and my political differences are significant from the overall population. So, to some extent I have to watch it.
But my co-workers know where I stand.
They sometimes roll their eyes when I open my mouth.
But I'm the kindly old curmudgeon and to them I'm harmless.

I'm the old guy where I work and I spend a lot of time on the phone with clients. They frequently complain about their twenty-something kids - living at home, work ethic, ghosting their jobs, etc. I generally agree with my clients that in those respects there may be something lacking in some millennials. Of course, when I get off the phone there are a few youngster co-workers at their desks around me. Oops! Oh well. I need them when I have computer issues and I mentor them in their jobs. We get along.

Millennials are like any generation out there, there are some DAs but most are fine hard working people.

They also seem to be outstanding in their views on diversity and letting everyone be who they are. Now, if they would just find their own apartments. 😉

They won't get their own apartments because they can't afford anything as nice and big as mom and dad have.
