Latest bone scan showed a spot in Danny's sacrum and something questionable in one of his ribs. Biopsy of sacrum said it is cancer....still waiting on final pathology to see what we're dealing with.
Radiation this winter got rid of recurrence in prostatic urethra. Plan is to radiate this spot as well.
Thankfully, it is still small and only one spot. Wasn't there in November, saw a faint something in April, and now it's 1.8cm.; and his PSA has come up. Even though it's at .1, because he has ductual, PSA isn't a good marker. He had no detected PSA when he went thru radiation earlier this year.
So we're back at MD Anderson for several weeks.....

I've done three sets of 15 radiation sessions for T12, L3, L4, L5, and nodes around my heart. It's just another day in paradise.

Hang in there. My PSA fell over 50% after hitting the L vertebrae. It works.

hang in there indeed... i went back and read some of your early posts, esp. what the RO at Duke told your husband six years ago... you came out of the darkness into the sunlight, you and Danny are real fighters... keep it up! we're pulling for the two of you.

Spot on rib was not cancer. Going to do 3 radiation treatments for place on sacrum bone. We feel very blessed that it is just one spot and not multiple ones.
He tolerated the 25 treatments this winter quite well, praying these 3 aren't different.
