Two weeks since re-starting treatment

Two weeks since re-starting treatment.
I feel pretty good for the most part. I am finding it a little easier to urinate and except for chronic diarrhea my body feels pretty good. The prednisone has eliminated the adrenal insufficiency I had been suffering from since going off prednisone back in January. I had no idea that was happening. All I knew was that everything hurt. In the back of my mind I attribute it to old age. It was either old age or the cancer was coming back. As it turns out it was neither. Dr. V in Vegas said that he thought I should not start Zytiga seeing as how my T-level was up. It’s too late however for that as my oncologist put me on both Zytiga and Lupron.

We feel ya pain, brother. Interesting about the well respected Dr. V ' suggestion. He's an expert, but my T level was never a concern when starting Zytiga 5 years ago, and I would hazard an uneducated guess that most men's T level was not very low when starting. In any case, glad you did restart, know you will be good, and hoping you stop hurting and pooping(try more fiber foods) and also aching due to your extremely old age, lol, I am six years older (64) than you are, and just starting to get to those little aches and pains ,etc.. Anyway with the Lupron, hope hot flashes be tame, but get ready for a few more lbs.!!!
