My 50 miles a week running program has been a part of my daily life since I was 15 years old. I no longer do power lifting or power breaking, but I still practice Taekwondo every day, still lift weights every day and still hit the trails every day. Yes, my BMI remains 'high' and I am still built like a brick.
I suspect that my cancer was brought about
by environmental factors. I have been exposed to quite a few toxic chems and substances over the years, as well as radiation (beyond the daily cooking by those ubiquitous radar microwaves).
The docs continue to be amazed at my resistance to the beast, ascribing that to said physical activity. I am looking forward to getting out there this morning as that will hopefully back off the discomfort from yesterdays Eligard injection. At least it was in the butt rather than the belly.
