Refusing Biopsy

I was talking with a co-worker who said that he absolutely will never have a biopsy. He says that he feels that it will bring fresh blood to any tumor and feed it, making it unmanageable. Is this a thing now? I have never heard this before. Seems dangerous to the extreme.

He suspects PCa because of a high white blood count and PSA. He said he took oral chemo (not sure what that is) for about a year. Didn't do anything. Then the docs put him on extreme antibiotics. Now he is healed. Except for bad pain now and then.

I worry about this guy.

Extreme antibiotics cured him? Wonder what sort of doctor would prescribe that?

I have two friends with prostate cancer. one is 70 and In fantastic shape. he was diagnosed a few years back but he refuses treatment. he has his own "holistic" regimen. he recently had his PSA tested and the doctor practically begged him to at least take casodex but he wouldn't do it. we only occasionally talk about prostate cancer and I still speak my mind but I've accepted that he's made his decision.

my other friend had surgery for G8 cancer a couple of years ago and the cancer has returned. he was going to his appointments but was not acting with any urgency. well I really pushed him on getting treated. a couple of months ago his PSA was .2 or higher and he wanted to delay ADT till after the holidays and his European vacation. he said the doctor said he didn't need to start treatment until .4

well I got on his case and told him to get the shot NOW and guess what he did. and he later thanked me for pushing him. his vacation went fine even tho he quickly tired and was "grouchy". he just had some kidney stones removed and he starts SRT soon.
