81GyGuy's thread on Obesity in the U.S. made me think of a movie
i watched one of the many Documentaries on Netflix that promotes vegan, last night. "The Game Changers" This one was particularly impressive though. The comments and interviewees were not the usual Doctors, like Michael Gerber and Esselstyn and Ornish, or the usual anti meat eating activists. They were celebrities. Mostly athletes. Talking about
and being shown as examples of, the benefits of veganism that improve performance, overall health, and general well being.
The entire offensive line of the Carolina Panthers went vegan, and their performance in games improved exponentially. (my words).
You dont need Netflix to watch it, its on Vimeo, or you can go to the website,
https://gamechangersmovie.com/the-film/where-to-watch/ where you can not only find multiple ways to watch, but also their philosophy, methodology, recipes, etc.
For some reason, this one struck me more than some of the others I've watched.
I haven't found their profit motive yet, i am sure there is one, but they only offer a signup page for their newsletter. If you are interested in promoting general health through diet, its worth watching. There is a fleeting reference to how vegan diet helps prevent cancer in general, and Prostate Cancer (among others) specifically (NOT CURES, PREVENTS, JUST SO WE ARE CLEAR)
