Trimix Help

Looking for advice on Trimix

Had my RALP last Nov, my local URO would have given me a script for sildenafil if I requested it but he said the pump wouldn't help much and that I should just give everything time to heal on it's own.

That was not good enough for me and I had a surgeon down in Houston at MDA do my surgery and just use my local URO for follow up care.
My surgeon is a believer in the pump and the pills and set me up with a penile rehab doc in the same office area so I got a script of sildenafil from him 3 weeks out from surgery for a 20mg dose daily and 5 at a time once a week to see how I progressed over time. I hate the pump but I use it and after 4 months using the pills and the pump every once in awhile now the pump actually feels good finally and after taking a full dose of the pills 100mg I am getting an erection of about 5 on a scale of 1-10 so I feel like I am progressing and at this point happy with the progress.
Went back to the rehab doc yesterday and did the ultra sound on my valves without the injection then he injected me and waited about 5 minutes and ultra sounded me again and said that the valves on one side working great and the other side was working but not quite as well.
The doc said it was from the surgery but I should respond well with the shots and while I was talking to him my penis was getting harder and harder and he said within an hour or so it should start coming back down and turned us loose to go home.
By this time it was starting to get painful but he told me that would improve with time so I left his office.
Walking around in the hospital I got kind of spooked about how hard I was and how it was hurting so instead of leaving right away we waited in the cafeteria for about 20 minutes and then I decided to go ahead and leave and drive down the street to McDonalds for some breakfast and before we got there we saw a CVS and thought before I drive 7 hours home maybe we should get some Sudafed just in case and I got to say it was uncomfortable walking around in public like that.
Went to McD's and ate breakfast but got spooked from the pain and it had been about an hour and a half by now and to me it seemed like my penis was continuing to get harder and harder.
We panicked after breakfast and I took 4 sudafeds and after about another 30 minutes it finally started calming down. Took about another hour for the pain to subside.
My questions are could the fact my penis felt like it was going to pop like a balloon be caused by just the medicine or maybe the fact that it was so hard that it was causing the pain.
They gave me 10cc for a starting dosage and told me I could go up to 50 if I needed but at 10cc I thought I was going to explode.
My thought now is maybe the next time on my own I take only 3cc to see what that's like and work my way up from there if I need to, maybe I don't need near 10cc of trimix.
I don't want to give up on it already but if it's going to always be the way the first time was it's not going to work for me.
The needle poke was no big deal but the pain from either being so hard a cat couldn't scratch it or the medication I don't know.

Looking for help from the guys out there that have experience with this.

Thanks Fran, no doubt it did what it was supposed to and maybe way to well. Just to painful for pleasure and don't know if that is because they used to much to start with.

A couple quick thoughts ...

Your idea of starting at 3 units and slowly working up the dosage is an excellent call...you had a very strong response ...

The ache you felt is common in about 30% of men trying trimix. If you continue to have ache/pain you could try Bimix which doesn’t have the ache causing ingredient...

On days in which you are injecting you shouldn’t be taking the oral ED medications....

Well last night I got brave enough to stick myself with Trimix for the first time.
I used 4 units this time not the 10 they used on my in the hospital.
It worked and we were happy for the first hour then the pain started up and lasted for the next hour and half until things started to subside, erections lasted about 2 and half hours.
The needle wasn't bad to deal with at all, might try one more time and take Tylenol ahead of time to see if that helps and maybe bring my dose down to 3 units.
If I can't figure out how to lessen the pain this is not going to work for me.
Need to find a Penile Rehab guy around here.
