"Those of us here over 60 and those who are on any anti - cancer drugs are "at risk" and have compromised immune systems. We must act like that or we risk death."
My job is one that can be done from home. My company has been allowing some to work at home, but not everyone. I'm starting to get pissed off because there appears to be some cronyism for who is working at home rather than based on age or health issues. I'm considering going to my boss and telling him I'm 60 ******* years old and may have a comprised immune system from ADT. So, either let me work from home, lay me off, or fire me. Trouble is, I'm not sure I can truthfully say that ADT puts me at risk. I can't find good info on it. My boss would support me but he's not making those decisions. I still may make the plea based on age, but a bonafide health predisposition would help.
Get your doctor to write a note. That covers you better than fuzzy criteria about
who gets to work from home and who does not.
