Long story short, am on my 4th pair of Hokas....
I've been in Hokas since they hit the market here a few years ago. I used to run in Asics Kayanos but tried the Hoka and was sold immediately. That cushioning is like running with a marshmallow under your foot and I have never had a lighter shoe.
My wife is a dedicated Brooks fan so we have a mixed marriage.
What it comes down to is that our biomechanics are so varied and our activities are as well, it really does impact what shoe is best for the individual.
