Hello, KMCLARK1 ~~~
I see GOOD NEWS in the lines of your update.
It sounds like the new CABAZITAXEL infusions are unleashing their mighty cytotoxic powers ---- and vigorously attacking the enemy.
The drop in PSA levels and alkaline phosphate levels are strong evidential indicators that your treatments are kicking in already.
CABAZITAXEL infusions are obviously a mighty "silver sword and shield" for you. Your post carried the BEST NEWS of the day, as soon as I read it!
I know the feeling of validation that stems from starting a new treatment, and seeing it make a noteworthy difference.
It's working --- and from miles away --- that loud sound you hear from afar is me ---- CHEERING LOUDLY!
You are in great hands at Dana Farber --- with their long history of research and expertise.
My favorite words from your post? When you said you are "feeling great" --- a perfect accompaniment to your new series of treatments.
On a personal note --- I value your philosophy of reaching "life milestones" --- family events, holidays, accomplishments. I have adopted your philosophy in my own life --- I am about to take my first step into my eighth year of survivorship since diagnosis.
Your philosophy brings more meaning to the events of life, and leads to a "looking forward" approach to life. I tip my hat to you, sir, for sharing this approach with all of us here.
Wishing you all the best, KMCLARK1! We'll be watching for your next update --- and we'll leave the front porch light on --- for your next visit.
