Hello, Steve ---
Been on ADT shots, continuously, for seven solid years (LUPRON, FIRMAGON, and now ZOLADEX).
There's no substitute for some physical activity, each day ...
Mix it up, and do the things you enjoy ... yardwork, rent a canoe, get out the bike, gardening, lift a few weights, or a neighborhood walk.
I walk every day --- even a half hour walk around the neighborhood can work wonders.
It's best to stay consistent --- weekends, I walk at county and state parks. I also walk on recreational trails at area lakes.
These easy fitness goals keep me MOTIVATED and I am getting back to my weight from college days, just by being consistent. All I need is a pair of tennis shoes!
Best advice I EVER received on this topic of "lethargy" --- often caused by ADT shots, chemotherapy, radiation, and other oncology medications --- were these words, shared by one of my wise doctors:
"The day you don't feel like walking (or exercising) is actually the very day you need to get out there the MOST!"
These words made a huge impression upon me! May they inspire you, as well.
