Yes, I think getting an appointment scheduled with a trusted urologist is a great "next step" ----
Write down, in details, the issues and concerns you are having --- be specific, and be detailed -- and take this written description to your appointment.
Bring along a list of questions, as well.
Often, urologists are "booked up" for weeks in advance.
If you feel that you need more immediate medical help, please state this emphatically ---- because then they can call you, if there's an opening or cancellation that opens up. If it's a more immediate need, please tell the receptionist when making the appointment ...
My dad, also a prostate cancer patient, who stands alongside us here, always says that fellows have to do what it takes to keep their "waterworks flowing" ...
