Heck it's a pain in the butt having to make sure you clean the area below the foreskin couple of times a day but I'm not sure I'd like the feeling of not having a covering. I suppose one can get used to it.

I hear ya. Circumcision probably isn’t so bad to those who have never felt the benefits of not having it cut off. (If you’ve never had a left arm, you probably can’t relate to people who have a left arm). Lots of nerve endings in that foreskin. Makes sex something that circumcised men can never know. (It’s rumored it’s what makes European men such good lovers 😊 ). There’s a sensitivity that comes with it.
I’ve had some of the problems you’ve described. I’ve never had it as badly as you describe yours as being...but enough to know it can be a pain (in more ways than one).
Mine seems to have gotten more finicky since my RP. The little bit of seepage makes the area under the foreskin retain more moisture. Hence the need to double up on really keeping that area clean.
It sounds like you’ve had a bit of yeast infection (as have I. More so since RALP). Cortisone is good. Is it over the counter or prescript
ion? There’s many types of crimes for this as it’s a very common phenomenon (especially with women). If you haven’t already, I’d ask the doc about
“Clotrimazole” creme. It’s a prescript
ion hydrocortisone creme. That seems to clear mine up in a day. No burning. Just relief. At a minimum you’d want to ask about
a prescript
ion of some sort to kill the fungus.
Just a theory Glen. I’ve wondered if us uncircumcised men might not be just a little more freaked out about
this disease because we are uncircumcised. It would make sense...given the extra sensitivity of our foreskin. Only you and your doctor will make this call. But, make no mistake. I fully understand your reluctance to give up a part of your body that contributes to how you physically feel sensitivity wise. The fear is...giving up the physical will hamper the emotional and psychic sensitivity of your whole being.
You seem to be making the most out of a less than ideal situation. Trust me. I get the consternation friend. Just get that cancer fixed then worry about
it.
Good luck buddy.
