What Jim said, getting that second shot, i got a huge psychological lift as it went into my arm.

NYC, is opening vaccinations to all adults over age 30 tomorrow - a big relief for me, as my daughter who is the only one left in our immediate family not to be vaccinated (aside from my grandson age 2 (almost)), can no get her shot. She told me today that it hasnt been hard for people up there to get appointments.

There was also news today that there is good evidence that the NY Variant, does not evade vacconations, nor antibody treatments. It was originally feared that was not the case.

Got my second Moderna Shot at noon. So far I'm fine. Not pain at the injection site.

I live in Metro Altanta and I think it's getting easier to get. Walgreen's has a ****load of times.

I had 1st astrazenica shot 2 days ago. No major side effects, touch wood. A lot of aches though, and aches I had before seem magnified. A little "fluey" as well with not much energy. Walking around the block feels like a marathon. If it wasn't listed as a common side effect I'd be worried I was coming down with the flu or covid itself.

Actual jab was the best I ever had - felt absolutely nothing. Guy who gave it to me was a GP plus a qualified acupuncturist. I guess you can't give painful jabs and remain an acupuncturist for long, I guess smile He gave no warning like many do when they're about to jab you. Probably a smart thing - no time to tense up (despite them telling you to relax!)

Update: On day 13, my arm was sore to the point of annoying to lift it. Maybe I lifted something funny.

We received 1st Pfizer dose on 3/18/21. First 24 hours nothing to report not even arm soreness. 24-72 hours, subtle muscle aches in thighs similar to when I'm trying to ski down a mountain on a course over my ability, and to a lesser extent in calves, normal temp but just a little tired as if I need to take a nap. SAT normal for me 94-96%. Suble sinus headache, but I have allegies and asthma, so I think that's normal for me. I'm now in day 4 and these SE's are still with me. My wife has similar SE's except she had nightsweats briefly nights 2 and 3 but no temp. Second doses scheduled for 4/9/21.

Had covid in January, slight cough, big nothing burger for myself and wife who also got it. Wife has had both shots since she works for law enforcement. I got my first shot today, pfizer. feel OK so far.

Had the 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday morning. Felt fine all day. about 8pm I started feeling tired and then the chills set in. Had a pretty rough night with chills and sweats. Didn't go out for my usual 6 mile run in the morning but am feeling lots better now.

Just got home from getting Pfizer #2. Definite arm soreness. We'll see what the next 24 hours brings.

Pfizer #2 on 4/9/21. Used different arm, (non-dominant), from #1 for variety. No effects at all so far.

I confess I was not reading the vaccination threads until I had my first shot of Moderna yesterday. Next in a month. I feel slight arm sorenees, nausea and tireness. Maybe I have some mild fever too, I did not check it (I do not see what it may ad to the other well known se's). I hope I will be ok in a couple of days. I have a couple of questions, maybe they have been answered before. 1) going to the cdc and the manifacturer pages I found that this vaccine (and it seems all of them) have been appoved by the fda for emergency use, but it they are not received the full approval yet. It is a bit surprisng they are being universally distributed anyway, not only for the risk groups (like most of ourselves). Second, I should have my semi-anual follow up blood test before second dose. I wonder if some of the results may be affected (liver enzymes, etc.). I had symptoms compatible with mild covid, similar to the ones I have now, in march 2020 (not pcr or antigen tests taken). And the blood test next month only showed a small increase of linfocites ( not commented with my doctor).

we are in a pandemic. everyone is at risk and a potential carrier.

Got the 2nd Moderna shot 48 hours ago. No side-effects at all, not even a sore arm. Kinda makes me wonder...

The second shot actually went better than the first one. I had it on Saturday afternoon April 10. Arm was sore till next morning, I felt pretty good Sunday afternoon. No fever, no extreme tiredness.

very sore arm first and second shots of Pfizer. Second shot caused nausea and 102 fever for several hours.

Had 2nd pfizer shot Friday, slightly sore on upper arm for about a day. so between having covid and the 2 shots should be good to go,cant wait to end the mask BS, everyone who has had their shots or covid should not need to wear masks.
