My PSA Update

Hello,
Yesterday, I went to have my second PSA blood draw after about eight weeks. The PSA went down from a 4.04 to a 1.51! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!! I can't thank GOD enough. My next appt, is set for three months and if my PSA is lower, my nurse will ask me to start going back on a six month basis.

How well I know what you are feeling. Post-radiation, mine went from 8.7 to 2.4!

Always nice to hear good news. Keeping things in perspective the road ahead can prove to be a little bouncy. Typically about 20-30% of radiation guys can experience some PSA bounces that in most cases usually result in better long term outcomes. Continue to monitor but don’t over stress. Wishing you low numbers in the future.

yes, over stressing is something i'm trying not to do. I don't know what's ahead, but i will celebrate this victory and continue to hope for a downward trend.
