Hello all, I so remember being lost and confused when I was first diagnosed. I just finished writing a short book for new guys and their partners on PC.
All monies generated from this book will be donated to PC research. Below is the back cover test to give you a sense of the book. It is available in Kindle and the paperback should be available soon.
Writing this was a labor of love. I hope it helps.
The title is "Prostate Cancer, a Journey of Fear and Hope: A guide told in plain language by a survivor. Denis Finnegan Ed. D.

Being told “You have cancer” is a shock to your mind, body, and spirit! The confusion, fear, and loneliness of finding out you have prostate cancer is compounded by the reality of now having to choose treatment. The challenge is the language of prostate cancer is foreign, the treatment choices are many, and the fact that no one will tell you what to do!
This intent of this book is to help you learn the language of prostate cancer, understand the terminology you will need to make an informed choice and I will share the feelings most of us experience during our cancer journey.
The title of this book includes the words fear and hope. Learning about this disease was one of the ways I found hope. I am 4 years into this journey and there is much less fear and a great deal of hope. To effectively treat our disease, we need to learn the language of prostate cancer and connect with others so that we can make an informed decision.
I know what it is like to sit with the news that you have prostate cancer. It’s the biggest gut punch of your life that can send you to a dark and lonely place. I am 4 years into this journey and will share the things I have learned, mistakes I have made, and the hope I have gained. Please borrow my light of hope until you find you own.
Thanks, Denis
