hello, good folks. today, i got my most recent PSA. my new PSA is 0.72. on jan 9th and 23rd, 2020, i had HDR +six months of 50mg bicalutamide. here is a lit of my PSA since treatment. please tell me your thoughts.

january 21, 2021| 4.04.
march, 16, 2021 | 1.51.
june 21, 2021 | 1.52.
sept., 22, 2021 | 0.55.
march 25, 2022 | 0.72

No cause for alarm. Just keep testing at 3-month intervals. You seem to have missed a Dec 2021 test?
Hopefully, future test results will 'settle down'.

PS: You need to correct the 3/25 date.

No. My nurse practitioner said the .55 PSA was low enough to been seen in six months. but this time around, i'm going back to three months.

I think you should also keep testing every three months. I did so for the first 2 years and then switched to every four months for another couple of years. I think you're still at the stage where extra data points are helpful.

In general, the PSA is going the right direction, with the exception of the last nudge upwards, which could just be more normal fluctuation at this stage. But I'd want to know more if I were you.

I was 2.2 after my SBRT the oncologist said it is on target. I believe I'll be tested in three months.
Not happy with this test, test, test but it is what it is. Of course it would be nice to hear-Hey it's all gone!

My usual PSA before and during my diagnosis was around 5 ish but at times it was as high as 7.4. I have a large prostate and was prone to infections which may have accounted for the bumps. A month of Cipro knocked out the infections after trying just two weeks worth multiple times.

I suppose it ought to go down as time goes by.
