Well said.... now this month it is ten years...... yes on ADT and meds, but no cancer in my body... God does answer prayers.... This site has helped and given me comfort during my journey. Be at peace Joe....

Thank you Cyclone. It definitely gives me hope for the 2 small nodules I have in my right lung. I haven't heard back from my doctor yet. He's very good and expect to hear from him tomorrow. He and his colleagues have their own free-standing cancer care center and are associated with Ohio State cancer care The James Cancer Care Hospital in Columbus, OH so I am in good hands. The James is a research facility. Once again your description of how your nodules disappeared with ADT alone is very encouraging.

Reading Steve0's reply I forgot to mention the most important thing which is prayer and trust in God. I wouldn't have gotten through any of this without the comfort that it gives me. I also developed Multiple Myeloma last year which was caught at a very early stage and now is in remission. Myeloma is a blood cell cancer with no cure but can be treated over a number of years until it becomes resistant to treatment. I'm hoping to live as long as God intends despite having 2 cancers.

Joe, the treatments developed, even since Cyclone was diagnosed in 2013, have advanced and done amazing things for so many stage 4 men. Be confident. It's likely you will be able to manage this thing for a very very long time.
