Ho! Ho! Ho!
The link below is to a website for the "Worldwide Santa Claus Network," which bills itself as "The Best Professional Santa Claus School."
It states: "With more than 4,800 members our year-round online Santa Claus School helps Claus Portrayal Artists improve their appearance, performance and grow their audience, opportunities, and influence."
It offers to train its students to become Santas and Mrs. Clauses at the "pro" level, that is, able to go out and get paying gigs in department stores, Christmas parades, parties and the like, all the while spreading Christmas cheer.
But there's another reason, in addition to "Friday fun," for posting about
Santa Claus School.
Of possible interest to some of us, maybe, toward the end of the first imbedded video on the site (do watch it), "Santa" (the owner of the school) mentions that being a professional Santa Claus might just be a possible second career for older, retired guys (like many of us), looking to pull in a little extra cash during the holidays, and in a fun and merry way. Well, I know a lot of us here are of the age that would qualify us to be Old Saint Nick, and if some of us also have the appropriately portly physique, and maybe even a full, white beard to go along as well (well, a fake one could be added), then maybe it's a seasonal job opportunity that's just calling out to us to do!

True, few if any of us are planning to become Father Christmas at the local Macy's for a while any time soon, but perhaps even just the notion of doing so might provide us with a bit of yuletide amusement!
OTOH, portraying the Spirit of Christmas might just be something we hadn't thought about
doing, but might actually be a fun thing to look into, now that the Christmas season is upon us!
So, without taking any formal Santa Claus School lessons on how to do it, let me just say on my own:
Ho! Ho! Ho!, Merry Christmas!, everybody!
