When do Orgovyx SE kick in

In the past, Lupron SE seemed to start with hot flashes at about 4-6 weeks. I know Orgovyx drives the T down MUCH faster. Can I assume that the SE will also arise much faster?

My SEs started about 2weeks after starting. Minor sweats and getting tired in the afternoon. My best to you.

I need to restate that as I already had a month of Firmagon to begin with. However, I didn’t start having SEs until after starting Orgovyx. So maybe 6 weeks after Firmagon and Orgovyx combined.

I started on Firmagon, which crashes T very quickly, and i started feeling SE around the 4 week mark. So i think its different for everyone

Hubby started with hot flashes about 2 weeks into Orgovyx. T dropped to 15 but amazingly not much fatigue. He functions quite well. Unfortunately it seems the drug is losing efficacy after 6 months. T still low but PSA on the rise. Docs are thinking of adding additional drug (not sure if Zytiga or different). Orgovyx was started when monotherapy nilutamide stopped working. Pathology in 2013 was pt3b, Prostate bed radiated 8 months post-surgery, then monotherapy of Casodex then nilutamide. Got several years out of those.
