Blood clots Help

I'd add that I'm on Flomax and took them today.
I'm running to the bathroom constantly but not much coming out other than blood and clots.

Urgent care may be closed but I will look the ER is last resort.
I am peeing a little so it's not completely blocked.
Huge long clots
I hope I can make it until tomorrow

Really really sick of these side effects.
Pain down there is better but still achy.
Maybe the big clots were expelled and things are actually getting better. So I hope.
I'll see urologist again and he'll want to scope me.

Thanks Duke. I've had hematuria for months off and on but today was four inch clots while before it was occasional small clots.
The spasms which occurs near the end of the penis have happened but very rarely and never with incontinence until now.
Anyway I feel better overall with no more chills.

Feeling much better almost like it was a dream ( nightmare) the chills are gone as is the urgency. So I went from a near trip to the ER to feeling okay. Still have a lot of blood but urgency is gone and no more clots.
My guess? I think I had huge clots almost occluding my urethra and they forced their way out hence the spasms, chills and pain down there.
Just a guess. Hope I don't have to go through that again.
Oh the joys of post radiation side effects!

Sent in a appointment request for cystoscopy.

Thanks Cyclone. I had a video visit last week or so ago because the office closed due to a pipe breaking. The doctor said if the clots became troublesome that I should come in for a cystoscopy so, I'm making an appointment. Still blood and tiny clots but I feel good and have no pain or chills. As I said, I think it was a large clot that "spasmed" out. Felt similar to when I had a kidney stone but instead of a stone it's a clot.
So yes I'll have to have a scope.
Don't like it but gotta check it out.

I feel your pain. I had two trips to the ER for retention, one to the urologist, and another to the urgent care. The ER experience was clearly the worst. Horrible! I'm so glad you have so far avoided that horror. After my last trip I got a bunch of self-catheterization catheters and instructions on how to use them. Happily, I've never needed to use them. With your difficulties, you should learn to self-catheterize.

I just woke up for good but made several trips to the bathroom. Two visits had hardly any blood but there is some.
Once I'm fully up I'll get busy making appointments

Yes I thought of bladder cancer but that most likely not the case as I've had radiation treatment and greenlight laser etc.
If it is the scope ought to show. RO and urologist were not concerned about the hematuria but was concerned about the clots

MLK day so office is closed. Waiting for on call doctor but I'm sure he's going to say to go to the ER

Yes my urologist doctor Decastro. He reduced my paraphimosis and was my early cancer doctor. He sent me on to Dr Deutsch my RO
On the phone visit he said I may need the cystoscopy if I developed large clots.
I'm doing okay but of course am concerned it may get bad again.
I'll wear a Depends when I go out just in case I dribble.
Frustrated the symptoms persist.

As far as bladder cancer goes, I suppose that the scope will show it.
I'm reading that cystitis and hematuria can last quite a while. I can live with it as long as it doesn't block my ability to urinate.
Having had retention one does not want that again. I'd add in my case the ER nurse inserted it incorrectly the time I had it.
I developed a paraphimosis which turned my tip almost necrotic. It was black and really painful.
I've had a catheter since but didn't have that problem.
Still doing well.
