Anyone here use Dr or hospital near Syracuse Ny ?

Just curious , I hear lots about the big places like Mayo , MSK etc
Wonder if people here use any “ local” drs or hospitals and their thoughts

I don't recall seeing many folks from Syracuse area on the forum but there are some. NYC seems to have all the major cancer centers but there also is Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo that is well known. There is the Upstate University Hospital (SUNY) in Syracuse that might be worth looking at.

It seems that you are still in the stage of seeing doctors and urologists. The places I mentioned can link you with doctors that may help evaluate your situation.

We are from WNY area and did go to Roswell Park for our 2nd opinion. We liked the radiation Dr. and if we ever need to go for radiation that would be our choice. We chose a different surgeon, but it was just the husband's preference. We did all visits in one day. They also did 2nd opinion on MRI and biopsy slides.
