Thanks everyone. If someone came to me and said they had blood in stool combined with urgency I would say you have a 65% chance of crohns/colitis versus other causes. What would you realistically say my chances are having cancer versus other causes with a 8 PSA? I am not saying this in a panic mode.
Thanks
Hugo,
The silence is deafening, isn't it. Probably no one here is willing to say that you likely have PCa, because we just don't know. Such a statement would be an awfully big responsibility. The other best candidate for the PSA jump would be prostatitis. Prostatitis tends to have an erratic PSA, but there's not enough PSA data to make that call, or any other call.
It's good that you're not panicked. One step at a time.
