We hope this message finds you in good health. We have exciting news to share as HealingWell enters a new phase in its journey. After nearly a quarter-century of dedicated service, HealingWell's founder, Peter Waite, has decided to merge with our long-time advertising partner, eHealthcare Solutions. We truly appreciate the unwavering support of our users over the years in making HealingWell a compassionate and helpful space for patients to come together. Rest assured, the core values of HealingWell will remain unchanged.

Our primary goal is to ensure a smooth transition as we address existing backend issues by implementing a more up-to-date platform. Although the appearance of the website won't undergo significant changes, the improved backend will enhance our ability to handle maintenance and address minor repairs. During the transition, the website will be in read-only mode for approximately 4-5 days in the beginning of September 2023. While you will still be able to view the forum, creating or responding to threads will not be possible. We will keep you updated through reminder emails and website announcements.

To get back in tell your friends they need to clear their browser cache. You will then be able to log back in.

The temp new system forced me to create a new password... I've seen that on other sites that did upgrades....

Luckily I remembered the old password for "this" version.

I've lost access to the PC forum if I log in via Safari. Yet somehow it works in Chrome.

If you clear out safari’s browser cache it will likely work again. Are you using a phone? A mac? a tablet?

I am not getting far with HW now, I would not call it exciting. It runs logged in on Firefox on my Mac as it is already registered and have not messed with anything recently.

My iPad, iPhone, other browser will not login with name & password. It will not send an email to my email address when selecting" Forgot your login information" although it says it does. It will say it does not recognize another e-mail address if I try that.

This has been a pretty rocky rollout and it is not the beginning of September and yes Steve, I cleared the cache, history, etc.

The IT people had a very rough weekend it seems! It looks like they rolled back their planned changes but left the system in a relatively unstable state given Mumbo’s experience stated above.

For some reason, I have a mental image of a 21 year old man living in his parent's basement after a long evening of Fortnite, sitting at his computer getting ready to update the HW site.

It's always been that way. Most of the forums have been dead for a long while, while the PCa forum was always very busy,

What amazes me is that the Heart Disease forum is so quiet, that should be a thriving forum, based on so many people affected;

Mattam, glad to see you're able to get on. Don't know if Ken's intervention helped or it's just serendipity but here you are. Supposedly there will be better infrastructure and some new features. We really don't know. The new ownership has gone dark on us so we're just doing business as usual. Which, as you say, is fine with us also. I know we all saw some instability in the forum platform during the past couple of weeks. If I had to guess, I would say that the IT folks tried to do the "transition", ran into problems then reverted to what we had. I guess we'll see.

Jim, it was Mumbo , not Mattam , who had the problem. AFAIK, problem still exists.Mumbo can get on, but only using Firefox on, I think, his laptop, not his iPad or iPhone. Correct, Mumbo?

Still waiting to hear from the Admins. I plan to start harassing them if I don’t get a response by tomorrow, end of day.
