I've been eating a lot of pistachios this year and my PSA for the past 3 years have been around 5.8. Yesterday when I had it taken it was 4.8. As far as I know I do not have PC, just a big old prostate. Whether the nuts have an effect on PSA or not, I'll take that number and run.

After 13+ years of treatment, I will take any nuts I can get.

Helps with diabetes. My A1C is 5 and it's never been that low since keeping track of it.

If it works for you, great.
The risk happens when an individual assumes that because some food, drug, or supplement lowers their PSA that their cancer risk has also dropped. Not necessarily so!
