A follow-up.
Perhaps my comment in the original post above,
"Maybe it's a sign of the times, that it's becoming socially acceptable for a regular pharmacy like the one at WalMart to be selling a product like this." gets to the heart of the matter.
Perhaps something as ordinary as the aisles of a regular pharmacy reflect our degree of social acceptance of matters pertaining to sex, and much more so than we may realize.
For example, just a few decades ago, it was largely unheard of for pharmacies to display condoms on shelves out in the
open.
Social acceptance of condoms grew, and now there are racks of them on
open display on the "Sexual Wellness" aisle in most pharmacies.
A similar pattern occurred for STD test kits, such as:

Pharmacies are just reflecting what society is coming to tolerate, so it really shouldn't be surprising to see, tomorrow or soon, usually shocking items suddenly on public display on that "Sexual Wellness" aisle.
But they'll become less shocking over time, because society has come to accept them, and we'll get used to seeing them.
Or will society ultimately draw the line at some point?
Perhaps we'll never see, in regular everyday pharmacies, explicit sex toys on the shelf next to the condom racks and the STD testing packages.
Or will we someday?
Only time will tell, I guess.
