My triglycerides have been high all of my adult life.generally in the 2-300’s depending on how I am eating/carb intake. Cholesterol never a problem, I assume the high TG is one of the causes of my having coronary artery disease.
When I was about 4-5 months into ADT, my TG shot up into the 500’s, with no increase in cholesterol. My diet was no different than it had always been. My cardiologist said he believed it was related to the ADT, and the resulting crashed testosterone. My RO said the same thing, and in fact he tested my lipids at the start of ADT for a baseline.
ADT is known to mess with your lipid numbers. So I believe there is your answer.
After ADT ended, my TG slowly came back down, and is now 180 .
