This PSMA PET scan is slick

My PSA was rising enough 12.5 years post salvage radiation, 0.47, that I got referred back to a urologist. I'm pretty confident that just a few years ago that would have meant immediate drug therapy and a return of those hot flashes I first experienced 15 years ago. Instead I got a PSMA PET scan at the local hospital. They've been doing them for a couple of years, three days a month. All new stuff to me.
Scan came back today, no evidence of any metastatic prostate cancer.

My reading tells me that only 30% of scans of those with numbers like mine show any cancer. My PSA is also doubling every couple of years. We're going to revisit in six months.
