Ryne Sandberg metastatic prostate cancer

Poor guy played all those years with the Cubs. My Dad watched the Cubbies on WGN all the time and I watched a lot games with him. Sandberg was like a fielding machine at 2nd base, and handy with a bat too.

I saw that one of MLK's sons recently died from PCa. RIP

Seeing a few articles about PCa in my news feed today, which is just about infinitely more than usual. Even two articles explaining Active Surveillance. Maybe a little bit of progress is being made. Perhaps someday we can get to widespread screening if the general population understands that there are options, especially with early detection. With few exceptions, no man needs to die from PCa.
