Hello all,
Thanks to this forum I learned about Kelami's Syndrome (Urethral Manipulation Syndrome). I have a downward ("ventral") curve, first noticed after RP surgery with 12 days of catheter after surgery. I thought it was Peyronies, but after reading about Kelami's I think that might be what it is. The curve is straight down (no side to side curve). It did occur after catheter use. Another unusual thing is that the erection (either natural, with sildenafil, or with bimix) is OK but the "tip" is soft. I am not sure, but I think the tip is controlled by the "corpus spongiosum" and not by the "corpus cavernosum" which is the main structure for erections.
It seems that Kelami / Urethral Manipulation Syndrome is not very widely known. I wonder how many urologists eve know about it, much less what to do about it. I would love to hear others' experience, and hopefully that there is an easy (perhaps surgical) solution.
If anyone has any experience or information I would greatly appreciate hearing about it!
