locations of metastasis. For PCa, I think the best for that is PSMA PET scans but they require PSA to work. It may be that more effective tracers or equipment can be developed but most depend on cancer activity relative to other cells to locate.
The test above may direct one to the organ that has suspected cancer for further investigation. May be better than monitoring the elusive PSA over time if a test can say there is something of the cancer variety going on in the prostate.
