Rapid Jump in PSA from 3 to 16 in 15 days

Hello,
I am 51. For the past few years my PSA has fluctuated between 2.5 and 3.5.
On 14-March-24 it was 4.4. So got retested twice.
On 22-March-24 it was 3.09.
On 5-April-24 it is 17.5.
I did 2 subsequent tests which showed PSA of 16.5 and 16.8. So there is confimed jump.

Now I read story of Francis Collins’s diagnosis. Interesting story

The former director of the National Institutes of Health shared his journey to a diagnosis with The Post.

He also had sudden PSA jump and his earlier non aggressive cancer which he was monitoring turned out to be Gleason 9.

You will know the answer in a couple of weeks. Not that hard to find examples of every possible outcome, most of which are outliers. There are many in healthcare that are convinced that PCa is not a major life issue, there are a bunch of men with PCa who think otherwise. The men in the middle are confused to say the least.
