hi everyone

could anyone please tell me how long it takes to get the results of the bone scan . my dad is having his on the 21 of sep and i am due to go on holidays on the 22 . he is having it in the same hospital that he is attending . i have looked it up on the computor . some are saying two weeks and others are saying two days . i want to be with my dad when he gets these results and i am debating if i should go on hols or stay as my brother will be with him aswell .

Hello Petal,

Call the doctor and ask him/her or the surgical assistant how long it generally takes to get the scan results. They will be aware of the family's concerns, and if not you should explain to him/her that you wish to be there when the results are presented.

Got Mine the same afternoon they should be able to do the same
