Hi! lab...

Welcome to our wonderful group of people who have so much to share.  It's like closing your eyes and grabbing "info" out of a nice big brown paper bag.... and no matter what you grab.... it's good!!! and it's helpful.

Saw your posting and thought I'd welcome you!! :)

thank you...very nice of you had RP 6/9/06...7 out of 12..3+4=7
Gleason...doing great now..had TURP 2 years ago..and kidney stone
3 years ago..had cath both times..so i knew what to expect this time..
had cath for 3 weeks..when the nurse took it out the burning was
unreal..she said not to worry will be gone in 24 hours or so..6/30/06
cath removed but not much of a flow..on 7/4/06 still burning really bad..
ready for emergency room...3AM 7/4 not a drop coming out burning
was terrible..long story short 5 hours later or so while sitting and trying
and praying a stone the size of a pea came out and the burning stopped
uro said it was a bladder stone...all is fine now...

Yikes!!!! That sounds terrible.

My husband just had RP and will be having his cath removed on Tuesday.

Hi lab,

Welcome to the group, and I too passed a stone that looked like brown crystals. That was as much pain as I can ever remember experiencing. Other than 2 hernia surgeries, and the RLP this year; I'm in great shape! Now my friends won't stand too close to me cause they're affraid I'll get hit by lightning. So I hope you are recovered, and pretty much back to normal.

Hi lab ... nice meeting you!!! Thank you for sharing your journey with prostate cancer with all of us. It truly is a path we have all traveled or will be traveling and the more we know the better we are for it.   So many different variables come into play…. And knowing this information will help future friends.   We had one member pass a blood clot… so the more knowledge we have ~ the better prepared we are. The unknown is what is so scary! Take care and it’s really great to hear that you are doing so well. In new friendship, Lee & Buddy   Glen:   Not true of these new friends “me & Buddy”… We’d be giving you the biggest HUG!!!!!!!   Lightening or not!!! J and I’d probably be giving you a big kiss on the cheek too!
