PSA after surgery

I was diagnosed January 6th 2006 with prostate cancer, I went in and had the surgery March 10th 2006 via the davinci method. All went well and I had very little leakage and was back to work within 1 week. My first PSA after surgery was .5 in June of 06, my second PSA was 1.6 in Sept. and the Dr. requested another test on Nov. 2 last week which came in 1.3. The Dr. wants to meet on the 16th and discuss my options. I am 54 years old and in good health. I am not sure what my PSA should really be at this point. And what options I might have at this point. Can anyone on here relate to this? Thank you, Grady

Ideal post surgery PSA is undetectable which is often counted as under .1

A rising PSA within a year of surgery suggests the possability of distant microscopic cancer areas.

Johns Hopkins newsletters are worth reading. The Autum 2005 newsletter has an article "If PC comes back" which includes a chart.
