Hi Pete,
Good for you...got an appointment. Hopefully you can begin T replacement soon. I advocate a good compounded gel from a compound pharmacy instead of the Androgel. Androgel is good and works fine for me (insurance pays all but a 20.00 co-pay a month) but the volume is 10 times the amount that I use with a compounded form. 5 weeks ago I changed to a compound and wish I had done it sooner. It sure is easier to use 1/2 a gram of gel twice a day than 5 twice. about
the only concern is making sure the pharmacy is mixing the stuff with accuracy. Vick is my advocate there! Everytime she orders compounds she reminds the druggist how important quality is. I think he's afraid!
My e-mail is
[email protected] There is more to managing testosterone than just applying a little gel. Even though I am not having a hard time at all, some do have a problem managing elevated estrodiol levels and the T therapy backfires. E-mail me and/or Vick. It isn't hard to manage, just new.
Takes a little getting used to but believe me, it's worth the small effort.
Paul
