Pomegranite Juice in Pill Form?

Hi everyone!

  Today my dad and I were sitting and talking while he was getting chemo.  We got to talking about Pom Juice and his clinical study nurse said that she thought there was a pill form-may be a little cheaper.  So she looked it up on the computer and THERE IS.  It is like $21 for 60 pills.  I think they sell at GNC.  Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has tried or heard of these...and if they would be as beneficial as the juice?

  My dad is still doing well.  No sickness...hasn't lost his hair or anything yet...just a little tired.  He is so brave and has such a great attitude.  He is very religious about his low fat diet and drinking his Pom Juice.  We have one more chemo appointment on this cycle-next Friday-before the first set of scans are run.  Also a new PSA will be taken that first week of January.  We anxiously await these results so we can see just how much cancer the chemo is killing off. 

  I wish everyone great holidays!  My prayer is for a healthier new year...and that even bigger strides are made in curing PC.  God Bless you all for caring enough to share- as Bluebird would say :)

Hey Wispers, I have not tried the pomogranite pills, but i take the Pomogranite juice, not the pom juice. I get mine from Sam's club. it is a glass bottle that holds 32ounces of pure pomogranite juice. One ounce of this pomogranite juice equals 15 pomogranites, according to the label. So i have been taking 1 ounce a day = 30 days one bottle @$17.00 a bottle. I hope this will help, I know it sounds more expensive than the pills. But when you take the juice it immeditaly gets absorbed into your system, with the pills i do not know how much is absorbed in your system and how much is not?

Hi Ed-
Thanks for the reply. I'm just not sure about the pill either. I am thinking of just going to GNC sometime soon and talking with one of the employees about it. They are usually pretty informed about their products. I'll let ya'll know what I find it. I thought it was interesting that there is a pill form.
