We are not only getting bigger here, we are getting better! Notwithstanding, the number of new threads popping up seems to be overwhelming at times. Luv ya. Hi Lee

Great! This website is getting a little overwhelming, but it has a wealth of vital PC data stored within if only it can be readily found. You must spend untold hours on this website each day to do what you are doing. I am getting a little burned out with what I am attempting to do here, but I also in the process of treatment. I don't know what the answer is right now, but two or more heads is better than one to eventually figure it out!

Sorry to butt in here.... Bluebird & Dave, You might want to compile your list of info and then check with the site Admin ( [email protected] ) about putting a sticky thread at the top of this Forum.  If he feels the info warrants the post to always be at the top, he just might stick it there permanently for you all. Good luck!

Dear Dave ~   The most important thing you can do is take time to take care of “YOU” first!!!!!!   Your health must come 1 st !       Sometime the emotional cost ….makes me have to STOP and take a nice deep breath!!!   In fact ~ there's been a few times....I’ve just had to shut down for a period of days.   Yes ~ I truly do take my own advice…   I have to do this ~ in order to be effective in my desire to be here for others.  When my friends hurt...I hurt too!.  And I hope that I can touch a life with a warm fuzzy, a rainbow, and a little sunshine sprinkled in amongst their fears….. to ease their pain…. Empathy is truly ~ heartfelt!     I also knew when you came on board that you were going to realize the same thing… but we have to find these things out on our own.     Take Susan and Don and keep them under your wing….   They need you!!!   And as time allows ~ reach out to others.   Your research is invaluable to all… But ~ Your health & treatment…….must come 1 st .          And that new grandbaby has 1 st dibs on Grandpa!!!!!             My goal when I retired was to work at Hospice 1 day /wk.   Well ~ unexpected events have changed my course and I am excited to be part of the HealingWell Forum as a way of giving back.   Yes… many hours are spent here and I still can’t stay caught up…  but I'm here to stay!!!    You are so right about the forum growing…..   This is where we will have to educate new member and old/veteran members to stay in touch by popping their threads to the front.   It’s grown tremendously over the 10 months we have been onboard and will definitely continue to grow.   So ~ an easier format and easier search is going to have to be available.   Buddy & I have talked about his time and time again.   I was asked to become the Moderator for our forum and I graciously declined because it would take away from my “time” on individual postings….   We will see in time what needs to be done.     Take time Dave to focus on “Your Journey”….. let this go for now!!!!      Things will happen as they are suppose to happen…     Hugs to you!   and Keep Close…. hey all, I agree that we need to have some of the posts kept at the top. when I first came here, I could keep up with everyone and the posts. now there are so many people here and so many posts that I get behind. but like you have said, sometimes we need to step back and get away from it. I've been meaning to join in the chat room again but I've been very busy at night, too. I liked your comment Lee "things will happen as they are supposed to happen". kat

Dear Chirping Bluebird!

Thanks for your kind words above. I am doing well with my proton treatments with some manageable side effects--20 completed and 19 to go, so I am past the 50% mark. Looking forward to completing my treatments and getting back to a more normal life again. When I complete my treatments it will be close to seven months from the time I was diagnosed. It has been quite a ride to say the least. I didn't really find this website until after I had decided on my treatment option, but it has given me an opportunity to focus on others with PC and to help them where possible--this has been personally rewarding for me. I have remained stronger than I ever imagined during this ordeal with PC. i guess that my philosophical and spiritual nature has helped me greatly. I have faith in my future, but realize that this disease will hang over my head for the rest of my life. I realize that I am not alone in my journey after becoming part of this very special message board on PC.

I want to tell you once again that you are a gem! You do so much work here to make life easy for so many members (e.g., setting up links to threads that may be of vital interest to members searching for certain information). While you have turned down accepting the official Administrator's position (and I can readily understand why), you really do play this role here in so many respects. Thanks for being you! Thanks for being invaluable to our members. Thanks for chirping away when we need the "bluebird of happiness" in our lives.

    M.Kat ~ Thank you for your input.... and I appreciate you supporting the Helpful Hints page with letting newbies know about it. I will be working on a plan and will ask for some feedback in the future....  You are a "special" lady and I appreciate every posting that you post!!!  In Friendship ~  Lee & Buddy       We just had a power outage and so it’s showing me being on for about 3 hours… Well ~ we are back up and what a wonderful special posting I find…..       Dave ~   W.O.W.. =   Wonderful ~ Overflowing ~ Warmth Yes ~ Buddy just went and got me my crying short-shorts… Happy tears over flowing…. Your words of kindness have just filled my heart to overflowing….
