hi everyone, what's a good thing to wear down below in hospital, when u have a catheter in? I was thinking boxer shorts, any info?.

What to wear?  The newest fashion trend in after surgery underwear is...loose cotton boxers or..nothing.  tongue That makes it easier to make bag changes and move around. 

After your catheter is out, you might consider jockey shorts for support and pad placement.

Don't forget to bring loose sweat pants. You'll be wearing them for a week...

While you are in the hospital you will be in one of those nifty hospital gowns so you will not need anything until you change to leave.  Shorts will show the catheter and the leg bag which you may not want to do.  I purchase a couple of pair of the mesh type of basketball pants that you can get at a store like Dick's.  They are baggy enough to handle the bag and catheter and the mesh matrerial makes them cool.  The waist is elastic and can be tied to accomodate any bloatedness.

Super-Xtra lg/long T-shirts with a light bathrobe, easy to maintenance catheter and bag; doesn't cause needless contact with the catheter; plus it hides everything from view. Much easier to walk around the house too.
