All can affect the reason that the cells broke apart from the standard DNA. I spoke to my oncologist on this and he told me that when cells mutate there can be several reasons including the DNA make up. It goes with the fact that everyone has cancer cells but the immune system kills 99.999% of the mutations. When they grow out of control and form a tumor that is when you finally have what is called cancer. There are many contributers including those listed above. I asked if the DNA make up effects the treatment. He said not usually. But he did say that sometimes the DNA mutation makes cells more resilient to different treatments. On the opposite end sometimes agressive cells are easily coaxed into remission as their dna has made them less tolarable to treatments such as HT.
Oy, this is quite confusing enough.
