Is anyone familiar with the Cyberknife Robotic Radiosurgery System for the treatment of prostate cancer?

I just did some quick research and this does sound promising. It is very limited in case studies. 20,000 total surgeries for ALL cancers is less than 1% of LRP's and RRP's performed. Nice job finding this though. I will continue to research this as it may be helpful to all of us. This is not mainstream but could one day get there. I always said if a system could sample tissue realtime and pathologically define the tissue, then hit it with radiation all in one motion, now we have a cool science. Sounds like McCoy on Star Trek. If this machine could get us half way there then by all means bet on it. Too early to tell. I'll keep looking. I did notice it is more used for cranial disease that elsewhere.

Google St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor Michigan. They have a cyber knife and advertise prostate cancer as on of the things they treat using this pinpoint accurate radiation.

My husband was the one who heard the ad on the radio for Cyberknife and it's actually not far from our house. I was trying to find outcome data because my husband is thinking about the Cyberknife vs. the da Vinci surgery. Thank you team for pointing me in the right direction!
