Seeking Robotic Experience of Connecticut Surgeon

Newly diagnosed at age 64 (next month).  Gleason = 6 on 4 of 12 biopsy samples, prompted bya 4.4 PSA, a spike over my prior 3.0 or less.  Undecided on treatment but considering robotic surgery or brachytherapy (seed radiation).  Anyone had or know of the robotic surgery experience level of Dr. Carl J. Gjertson of Dempsey (Farmington) and St. Francis Hospitals (Hartford)?

Have researched the net extensively on treatments and treatment centers.  Cleveland Clinic is a serious consideration and have relatives nearby.  Appreciate any responses....

Dear Happytrails

You appear to live close enough to New York City to also explore and consider some of the top robotic surgeons there (e.g., Dr. Tewari at NY Presbyterian (Cornell). If you are considering brachytherapy, you might also want to consider Proton Radiation Therapy.  Good luck in your ultimate decision.
