I was a little concerned after my six month check, when my PSA went from 0.02 to 0.04. Despite assurances that it was still in the non-detectable range, I was certain an upward trend was starting. This morning the Doc came in with the news. It's back down to 0.02 !!!!! WHEW!!!! I was so happy that I stopped on the way home for bacon and eggs. Smart huh! Since it looks like the cancer isn't going to get me anytime soon, I go and start in on the arteries and cholestrol !! Thanks to all in the forum for your unending support. I'll continue to jump in when I feel like I have something to contribute!

Great news, Mike. There's always that little anxiety, isn't there, that the cancer will come creeping back. I'm no expert, but I don't think anything under .05 is reliable -- meaning that .04 is just as "non-detectable" as .02, and the fluctation may well be just a testing variable with no significance at all. Sure looks like you're in the ballpark! And, hey, what's little bacon and eggs now and then!

After all the anxiety just before getting your test result you deserve a good meal of beacon and eggs :-).

Congratulations on your 3rd zero result and may you have many more. I'm due for my 4th 3-monthly test in December and are hoping for the same result.

Nice job Mike.
I had a good weekend this last one and ate perfectly. Lots of veggies and fruit. Chicken as a main course. And here I am messing it all up. I am eating two chile dogs. I hope you enjoyed that bacon and eggs as much as I am enjoying these. I don't think I'll eat anything else this week but they sure are good.

Grand news, Mike! I was ahead of you by just a few days when I received my second post-op PSA results. I celebrated with a big pizza with everything on it. Now it's back to the fish, veggies, fruit and pomegrante juice.

Thanks all, and Barry - Love those pics! I remember doing those on my old dot-matrix printer, and my Dad told me I had WAAAAY too much time on my hands!

You know, Mike, we really date ourselves when we talk about dot matrix printers.  yeah

 

My kids have no idea of what they are! 

 

Glad you enjoy the pics... I wish I could say I designed them, but I just copy them from ASCII ART web sites.  I use them because I'm not as creative with colored text as our bluebird.  tongue
