One year ago today 10/12/07 I was having my prostate removed by Mr. DaVinci. I just want to celebrate my anniversary by saying Thank You to all the folks on this forum that encouraged and shared their story with me. I am doing wonderful, no incontinence, and YIPEE! YI YO KIYAY!!!!!  no erectile dysfunction as of 08/12/07 yeah  Married 37 years same woman and what a wonderful supportive caring woman! My PSA is 0.02 each time since my surgery.  Thanks Again Healing Well. I will hang around and watch and post when appropriate.

57 years old when Diagnosed 08/06 Biopsy 5 of 12 bad  PSA 4.3 Gleason 7 Surgery 10/12/06

Congrat!! I look forrward to my 1-yr anniversary and hope I do as well has you have -- on all fronts! Check in now and then and let us know how you're doing.

Hi 56 pontiac.

I have a 77 Ventura SJ. A friend has a yard full of 63 tempests. Great to hear the good news and hope you have a lifetime of no more PC.

Congratulations Pontiac on your 1 year anniversary. Hope fully I can join the 1 year club in about 4 weeks.

I never thought that when some one calls me a 'zero' I'd be happy :-).

Pontiac,

Great news. I am hoping to follow in your footsteps. Today is my 3 month anniversary post DaVinci. No incontinence, and I'm working on the ED. I would really like to be there by next month. End of November I will get my first taste of injections if it's not at 100%. Not really looking forward to that. Only because it's an unknown.

Thanks for everything. Will still keep you in my prayers.

Congrats 56 Pontiac!  Keep the good news coming!

I'm nine months out of surgery and feeling very well.

I'm also at my one-year anniversary from the ominous phone call I got from my family doc on a Sunday morning in mid-October 2006, to tell me my PSA was high and to refer me to a urologist.

From there, my PCa journey began.  I was diagnosed two days before Thanksgiving and had surgery 11 days after New Years.  It was a tough holiday season.  BUT...

Time has flown and like so many others here, I got through it, thank God.

To all you newcomers to healingwell.com -- welcome.  Time will fly for you too -- believe it or not.

Do your research and trust that you will be OK -- because you will.  And before you know it, you'll be celebrating your one-year anniversary and many more to come.

We're all gonna beat this thing.

ps. My Dad had a '56 chevy wagon, but my Uncle had a '56 Pontiac convertible, and I loved that car!!!!
