Hives!

Just a short update, First, our Golden had 13 puppies yesterday, and all have been sold by our breeder! eight boys and five girls. My wife Alma is worn out! Woke up this morning with an allergic reation, most likely to the antibiotic I'm on, they are changing me to Cipro, and had me take two benedril, hope it kicks in soon, by back is really covered in welps! Otherwise, had a nice shower yesterday, climbed up the stairs at least 15 times (the stool softner works too well), walked outside a few times, and enjoyed the idea of just still being here! See Doc tomorrow, and I think Mr. Hang will be removed.

i bet you were given Bactrim. Many people, including myself are allergic to Sulfa drugs like Bactrim.

Do keep a close watch on your reactions to any anti-biotic...

I must confess, I opened your thread looking for a question about raising bees and the "golden throng."  I was once a beekeeper for seven hives.  When your head is deep inside a hive while puffing smoke in the door, the 60,000 bees work to gether to move the smoke out of the hive - and vibrate your entire face!

Here's hoping that soon the only scratching you do will be behind the ears of your retriever!
(13 puppies on 8 teats?!!  I'm sure your Golden appreciated Alma's traffic control!)
